Quade and Gabrielle officially met in 2021, though they had shared mutual friends for years before that. At the time, Quade was living in Orlando, Florida, playing football and working toward his undergraduate degree, while Gabrielle was in Fayetteville, Arkansas, finishing up her junior year at the University of Arkansas.

One day, Quade reached out to Gabrielle and asked if he could take her on a date the next time he was home. She said yes, and he planned their very first date at Cheers at the OPO in downtown Fayetteville. From that night on, they were inseparable.

They spent two years in a long-distance relationship, and during that time, their relationship only grew stronger and stronger. They shared countless hours on FaceTime, Gabrielle racked up double digits in plane tickets visiting Quade, and together they made the most amazing memories traveling nearly 70,000 miles just to be with each other.

Eventually, Quade moved back to Arkansas to pursue his Master’s degree at the U of A, and life finally brought them back to the same place.

After four wonderful years together, Quade surprised Gabrielle at Christmas with their dream trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, planned for the end of May! Gabrielle thought it was just one of her Christmas gifts—but Quade had something much bigger in mind.

On the very first day of their trip, he took her to the stunning Schwabacher Landing, where a hidden photographer waited to capture the moment Quade got down on one knee and asked Gabrielle to be his wife.

She said yes, and now they’re planning their forever together!

God has truly blessed them with each other and the love they share. They are beyond excited to see what God does in their marriage and to begin their lives together—surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
